Friday December 14th

Up at 06:30 this morning Captain up by 07:00. Less wind today and does not look like rain at all. Might be a day to go up the mast and hoist the genoa.

Some pictures from this morning and last night. More comments later. Breakfast is on.

Finally work has begun on the chain plate replacement. Clifford from the yard is notching the toe rail for the new external chain plates. The workmanship on the stainless is very good. The fabrication was done by Nautool in Roadtown BVI www.nautool.com

The wind is dying this afternoon and will continue to quiet down through tomorrow. The result will be an inferno in the hull of this fiberglass toaster oven.

We have finished work for the day. My days in the yard are numbered and can be counted on one hand. I would like to thank Mary Lynn for being so accepting of my notion to come and work on the boat.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Dinner done, steak and mushrooms really good, a little cooler in the boat. Tomorrow work til noon then beach. Internet here sucks, not sure this will post. L8tr
